Home
I have lived in Henderson most of my life. I attended Chester County schools and graduated in 1984. Prior to graduating, I met my future husband and married November 10, 1984. Deciding that nursing was my passion, I enrolled at Union University and began my studies. I received my A.S.N. in May 1987 and worked at JMCGH in CVICU and management. I was very fortunate because JMCGH paid for my B.S.N. and I graduated in June 1991. Immediately following graduation my husband (Mike Woodham 1983) and I moved to Nashville following his career path. I worked at St. Thomas in the "pods" and primarily cared for patients following open heart surgery and transplants. In 1992 we were blessed with our first child, Katelyn. It was a huge adjustment but we knew with God's help we could do it. In November 1995, we added another child to our home, Ryan. I'm glad we had our time away from Henderson but coming back home was a goal we reached in 1999. Since returning to Chester County, I have worked in CCU at JMCGH and still find time to run after my children. Mike and I will celebrate our 26th anniversary this year and our daughter will be a freshman at FHU. Our son will no doubt fill her spot at the house and keep me busy with soccer and football. I truly believe that coming to FHU was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
