Home
I am married to Dr. Barbara England, and we are beginning our 17th year at Freed-Hardeman. We have four children, four grandchildren, and enjoy spending as much time as we can with them. During my tenure at FHU it has been a privilege to work with the graduate and undergraduate programs in education; graduate program in counseling; and especially the Department of Fine Arts in music. Over the past ten years we have taken several student groups to Europe as a part of FHU's summer short course sessions to study art and music in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Scotland, England, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Vatican City. As a family we have also been privileged to be a part of church work in Scotland, Belgium, France, Mauritius, and Haiti. It has been a great honor to have been a guest speaker at several conferences and universities, including four conference speaking engagements at Oxford University in England. Especially enjoyable is giving lecture recitals that include the works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff.
