I have been teaching in the Biology department at FHU since 1993. I graduated from FHU with a B.S. in Biology and then went to Abilene Christian University to get my Master of Science. I received my Doctorate from the University of Mississippi. My research at Ole Miss was focused on iron bacteria and their ability to form biofilms in water wells. I am an Environmental Microbiologist.
My research areas at FHU Research Center are water quality, water bacteria, and wetland plants, and bacteria.
My main courses that I teach are Microbiology, General Biology, and Plant Taxonomy.
