”Finding the common pathways for the Prevention, Screening, Detection and Cure of cancer”
A major part of my research is to develop a novel and sensitive cancer test for the detection and possible screening of all types of cancers. Our published, patented Cancer Recognition (CARE) test has been accepted into clinical trials program for the early detection stage I/II lung and breast cancer at M.D. Anderson (cancerfoundation.com).
Recently, we have developed a fluorescent microsphere-based flow cytometry method for a variety of spices and other antioxidant components down to the four nanogram level (McCormick Science Institute grant $80,000).
In order to address new, important therapies for cancer, we have developed after eight years of research, a 13 component, four tablet format as a health supplement for well being. We cannot advocate it for the treatment of any disease. We are currently writing a book on the direct anti-cancer effects of nutraceuticals, which is based on over 30,000 scientific based publications.

· Bonita and my effort to treat malaria in Haiti over the past four years has been the direct result of research at the Cancer Research Institute. We recently returned from our eight medical mission trip to Haiti, the toughest so far because of the loss of life and our sister churches at Solidarity, Delmas, Solet, Sous Majels and Checherone, who are suffering the effects of the earthquake. Roberta Edwards (on the cover of Christian Woman, spring, 2010), who has 34 children (one was killed in the earthquake) has been treating her children contracting malaria with Artemenisin, which is also used to treat cancer, with great success. Since starting these treatments four years ago, no malarial infected children have ever had a recurrence after the Artemenisin treatment. The conventional therapies are extremely hard on the children with 2-3 recurrences per child each year. She says we are saving lives. This all comes out of the literature research of the Cancer Research Institute.
