Conducted inservice at Hardin County High School - August 2001 Tennessee Reading Excellence Grant Training received in reading and selecting grants from various school systems: April 2002 Participation in reading and selecting grants from various school systems: April 2002 Training received to conduct professional development: February and March 2002; June 2002 Conducted ten days of professional development and implementation checks in each of the following schools in 2002 -03: Oakland Elementary School (K-3 teachers) Northwest Elementary School (K-3 teachers and assistants) Conducted inservice at Stigall Middle School – July 2003 Attended NCATE Training Sessions in Arlington, VA – October 2003 Tennessee Reading First Grant Training received to be a cadre: January 2004 Training sessions in components of Tennessee’s Reading First instruction: April 2004 Conducted two days of professional development in Reading First at Arlington School: May 2004 Conducted five days of professional development and implementation checks in each of the following schools 2003-04 Issac Lane Magnet School Northwest Elementary School Moscow/LaGrange Elementary School Training received in the components of Reading First instruction: West Tennessee Reading Academy – July 2004 Served as one of the instructors in the Inclusion Workshop for middle school teachers and worked in a summer reading camp for selected middle school students – June 2004 Conducted three days of inservice in reading strategies and assessment in the McNairy County School System – July 2004 Prepared and presented module for Tennessee Education Association on "Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment" for PRAXIS workshop – August 2004 |
