I was born in Jackson, Tennessee and grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. I am married to Dr. Richard England who is a Professor of Music at FHU. We have 4 children, 4 grandchildren and we attend church at the Estes Church of Christ.
I am Chair of the Department of Fine Arts and am an Assistant Professor of Art and Interiors.I have worked at Freed-Hardeman University since 1995.
My first introduction to the Art Program at FHU was in 1973 when I came to study art. My family lived in Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi before we came to Henderson to work with Freed-Hardeman University.
